Entries for the World Beer Awards will be open until 29 April 2025
With April fast approaching, the entry deadline for the World Beer Awards is now less than two months away. Taste and Design entries for the awards will be accepted until 29 April 2025. After this date, entries will close, and the tasting stage of the competition will begin.
Since 2007, the World Beer Awards has been showcasing the excellence of beers from all around the world. With multiple tasting stages to determine medal winners, country winners, and global winners, the awards aim to celebrate all corners of the world beer industry as well as deciding which products deserve the title of World’s Best.
The awards offer a more than 20 awards categories such as Dark Beer, IPA, and Pale Beer for Taste, and Bottle Design, Can Range, and New Launch for Design.
The World Beer Awards judging panel is made up of several, passionate industry professionals ranging from writers and educators to brewers and sommeliers. All our judges bring their own unique perspective and offer unmatched technical expertise when it comes to understanding flavour, production techniques, and exceptional quality.
Leading the blind tastings is our head judge and long-time participant of the World Beer Awards, Pete Brown. Pete, alongside a jury of experts, will taste and evaluate beer from all over the world to determine each style winner from every country before deciding which styles deserve the coveted World’s Best title for each category. Tasting every beer blind avoids any possible bias and allows our judges to focus solely on the qualities of each entry.
Loïc Barre, a brewer from La Brasserie de Chandres, commented on the brand’s 2023 World Beer Awards win: “For our first participation in the WBA we [were] delighted to have received 5 awards including that of best dark wheat beer of the world! This latest award was a huge boost to our sales. We are happy to introduce the DunkleWeisse style to many people who would never have been attracted to it without this reward.”
Make sure you ship your entries to us by 27 May 2025—entries recieved after this date will not be eligable for submission. The World Beer Awards offers a bespoke shipping service, intended to make the process as smooth and secure as possible. Simply make an online profile, enter your products, and complete the shipping form with payment. When we’ve receieved payment, we’ll take it from there!
